Project Summary
What makes Huntingdale Towns interesting is that they bring a change from the typical high-rise apartment structures seen in the neighbourhood. The IBI Group is designing these townhomes that will provide much improvement to the area and offer low-rise structures that will beautify the surrounding area.
The existing retail plaza will be replaced with 85 back-to-back and standard townhomes that will be arranged in three rows and ranging in size from 1,068 to 1,640 square feet. There will be a total of five blocks of townhomes. New Town Development with five blocks of four-storey, 85-unit townhomes
At the intersection of Pharmacy and Huntingdale will be two blocks of 18 townhomes (Blocks A and B), while Block C will have 14 standard townhome units.
The remaining blocks D and E will be located south of Blocks A and B, and will also consist of 18 back-to-back townhome units. There will also be 16 standard back-to-back townhome units as well.
The site’s east-end Scarborough neighbourhood is one that is being redeveloped to offer residents something to look forward to. Ease of access is made a reality with bus stop access within steps, as well as access for drivers seeking to get around town with Highways 404, 401 and DVP within minutes. And for those residents who simply just want to get around by foot will be pleased to know that this area has a walk score of 64 out of 100 and a transit score of 67 out of 100.
The area also has many retail establishments and shops close by. And for those interested in enjoying the outdoors there are several parks closeby, including Chester Le Park, North Bridlewood Park, and Beverly Glen Park.
